I thought they were just gonna roll out Hurts and if they got it great if not that clock at least goes down. I was surprised they threw it.

The playcall was bad because Barkley and Hurts were running well. The chances of them picking up a first down on the ground was good enough that they shouldn't have to overthink it.

Why do coaches try to get cute all the time? All Surianni needed to do was run ball, run clock and win game. Guys drop passes all the time. Beginning of end for Surianni just like with Staley who kept doing stupid things like this.

You know if that play work people would be talking about how smart the move was.

I think the prevent defense that was not defense at all was far worse move than that play call.

We hated when sean payton did it over and over again to 7 and 9 seasons. it's stupid to pass when the clock should be running.

He wouldn't have thrown it if Barkley wasn't open. He would've just went down to let the clock wind.
