This a coaching loss.

I have always said...Dennis Allen is not Head Coach material.

I would have hoped he proved me wrong but we will never win a SuperBowl with him as a Head Coach.

I will continue to pull & cheer on my Saints but I know he is not a winner.

Sorry if this offends anyone but I embrace truth and reality.

Is it playcalling or execution?

Playcalling. It’s devoid of creativity. It’s mostly running basic routes and relying on the athleticism of the receivers to get open.

Folded like a cheap suit, just like last year's game at Tampa Bay. Carr's injury changed the momentum for sure, but that's no excuse. DA / PC can't make the adjustments to save a 17 pt lead going into the 4th quarter? Give me a break. Pitiful.

This is not coming for argument but what plays can be called that will magically improve the oline..qb just under duress at all times and rb have nowhere to go

This should have been a loss on the coaches for Green Bay. Their defensive line was far more effective against our offensive line than ours was against theirs. That should have translated into a pretty easy win for the Packers but they kept shooting themselves in the foot.

I am extremely disappointed in the progress of our offensive line over the first three games. Without a marked improvement in this area, the Saints are no contenders. So the head on my coaching chopping block is Doug Marrone. I'm thinking it only took Alabama two weeks to figure out Marrone shouldn't be an offensive line coach... we should have caught on.

Why on earth did they not try to get in field goal range rather than playing to punt the ball away? You always take an opportunity for points to win. Bone headed decision that might have made for a different outcome at the end of the game.

- WR Shaheed (pure speed)
- TE Johnson (moves the chains)
- Taysom Hill plays every position (outstanding and durable machine)

Unfortunately, our O-Line is below average which destroys all of our super players above along with the bad playcalling and schemes.

TRUST YOUR It’s DAs Blueprint . We’re seeing the same coaching job we saw last year. We have talent to win but this coaching staff will keep us from contending for a Championship.

Meh. I saw a ton of plays missed by a ton of players. We expect better from our Coaches to be sure, but this is not their L.

Outside of the missed FG kick, this loss was pretty much ALL on the coaching IMO, not on Winston. For one, Allen/Carmichael have shown that they clearly have no confidence in Winston, which is a lot of what was behind the passive play calling. I fully understand Winston isn't the guy but he's at least an average, capable QB, and the coaches have to at least show SOME level of confidence in him... I think the play calling showed that they do not.

And it was numerous other little things like the clock management. Even when we were still up 17-0, 17-3 early in the 4th quarter I was puzzled on why we were still running plays with plenty of time left on the play clock instead of letting the clock run down closer to 0... I didn't get that.

We could still win the division just because none of the other teams in the NFC South are that good but I just don't see a path to going deep into the playoffs with the coaching we have...

The Shaheed jet sweep motion, even when it does not gain 15 yards, makes the DE hesitate. If you're not going to use Shaheed in the passing game, at least hand it to him once per game, and fake the motion two more times, to keep your QB from getting killed.

Screen game also helps not get your QB killed, but that's probably hard to do without Kamara, and your OL has to be in sync to run a screen effectively.

Without Derek Carr's injury, the Saints are 3-0 right now and people are talking about Saints contending for the Super Bowl. How many NFL teams will win without their starting quarterback? I hear all of you talking about Brock Purdy, but that's not the norm. Vast majority of teams will lose. There's that much distance in talent between starting qb and backup on most NFL teams.
