<B>Booger Has a Boo-Boo, But How Bad Is It?</b>

Florio's reporting today's news that Booger McFarland is going to have an MRI on his knee. While the Colts have not elaborated on the severity of his injury, Florio sez...

<I>"...before word of the Booger McFarland MRI broke, an anonymous tipster advised us that the injury is serious, and likely season-ending."</i><P>

Even if it's not season-ending, it sounds like it could/would keep him out for Week 1. Add to this Simon's departure, the loss of other interior defensive guys like Cato June, and the fact that for most of the year last year, the Colts D was nothing special against the run, and Reggie and Deuce may both hit the 1,000 mark, each, before halftime in Indy next month.

That's 4 starters they have lost I think....cato june, 2 cb's and now a DT. Colts have also lost a few offensive lineman, and will be using a rookie at LT. HMMMM....

Da do run run, da do run run. (Saints strategy vs. the Colts).

It's more than 4. They have been decimated this year. However, Dungy always seems to put together a good team. (Hopefully people will be saying this about Payton one day!) I don't expect them to be bad this year, but I don't expect them to be as good as last year or 2005.

I say run the ball and ware Indy defense down. Then come with Brees on play-action.

In the 4th give them a whole lot of Karney and Deuce.....Then we will be 1-0 heading to TB

If this is true, they are in a world of trouble.......We should have a Run/Pass ratio of 3-1 in favor of running when we play the Colts if McFarland is out. they weren't that good with him, but without him............WOW!

So, I see you guys cheer about injuries? I would never do that about any of your players.

Oh and you feel you can only win if we are banged up and have missing players? You all have a new Colts thread all the time.

Nobody knows the deal with Booger. He could be out for a few weeks or a year. There is no official confirmation or link about this anywhere, so far its speculation.

And Booger was gotten in a trade last year and started playing week 5. We won 4 games with a thin D line. So, we still could try to make a trade for a DT if he is hurt.

Now the Colts will still win this game I think IMO no matter who is out. As long as Manning is playing I think they will win.

And how would you guys feel if we are missing players due to injury but the Colts still win.:ezbill: Face it.....good teams overcome injuries and losses. The Colts had a ton of injuries last year and overcame them.

yall have lost to many players on D, peyton cant win the game if your Defense cant get off the field, its going to be like when yall played vince except worse

Unlikely. Just like many of you will claim some of you D players looks great so far in TC. Ours look pretty good too.

And keep in mind the Colts are 1-7 in preseason games the last two years. So, if we lose one, or all of them no need to start threads cheering about it.

Funny our one win in the last two years in the preseason was against the Saints.
