Commander's Palace to open in Destin next summer

I was in Destin this weekend. I found out that the Brennan's already have a restaurant in Sandestin called "The Royale B". It just opened within the last month. New higher end restaurants such as Mitchell's and Flemings (both higher end chains) have also opened in Sandestin. We ate at the Marina Cafe and had an almond crusted redfish that was dee-lish. Their souz-chef has taken over after their chef of many years left for New Jersey. Peter Bos (Sandestin and Destin Commons developer of IntraWest and current Legenday developer) appears to be a developer of some substantial talent. I look for the Emerald Grande to be a highly desired property based mainly on the old addage "location, location, location".

Just found out that Camellia Grill is also on its way to the Emerald Grande as part of the HarborWalk Village that will include Pat O'Brien's and Commander's.
I haven't been to the Grill since it was sold to one of Emeril's business associates but I will enjoy having a purple people eater and a skylab overlooking Destin Pass.
