Bill I was tracking the TNF game on their board against the Ravens. The refs hosed them on the drive Lamar took the lead.

I think the word I’m looking for here is: Deliberately.
Obviously the officials get calls wrong at times and this does affect who wins the game. But the league isn’t directing when to screw up the calls. Believe it or not, the officials are not perfect. And their mistakes sometimes costs a victory for the team on the wrong end of the call.
