It's just frustrating knowing that this team won't be any good this year. I have zero confidence in this team right now. To be honest I'm really contemplating not watching until Allen is gone.
I haven't felt this way about the saints since the Ditka years. I was just wondering how you guys felt as well.

It really depends on this OC hire/promotion. If it’s the right marriage I expect the team to stabilize. If it’s the wrong one more inconsistency.

New year new season. Things can change. I don't have any feelings until the season starts.

I'm fairly confident we make the playoffs in 2024. The OC hire will be a huge factor, I think they will hire the right guy/staff. I'm not concerned about the defense as the foundation is there and if we move Latt, we have players in place to step in. The draft capital we gain from moving him will be good to apply to the defense or holes on offense.

This is tough because if the Saints were in any other division, DA would have been fired by now.
And yet, I can see the Saints winning the South in 2024.

Well luckily we have the 2nd easiest schedule in the league next year.

I honestly don't know how.

It takes about 3 years to develop an Olineman. So we are not fixing this position this year in the draft.

We keep striking out on Edges. So chances of fixing out pass rush in the draft is minimal.

That leaves Free Agency where Loomis' contracts are crippling us.

We also have no tight ends, we are thin at linebacker, MT and Lattimore have probably played their last downs as Saints. And Jordan is coming off a poor season.

And Derek Carr is our QB. Even without this issue we got lots of problems.

Even if our coaching was good, I don't see much hope.

I've been about as down on DA as anyone.. but 75% because it's more fun to be optimistic and I'm excited to see a new offense if and when we hire one of these younger OCs.

25% more if score over 40 in the first 5 weeks of the season at least twice.
