I watched because I NEEDED to see the Rams lose. I can't tell you how much better I felt every time the Pats took the lead. It was a salve from my soul.

The Rams winning would have been too much to take. They didn't deserve to be there.

I have been telling you guys that most Saints fans this off-season will learn the meaning of the word schadenfruende and appreciate it appropriately in terms of the NFL, Roger Goodell, and SB 53's ratings completely tanking and falling flat on their faces.

Taking delight into the public misery of your enemies can be a wonderful, meaningful thing. It's so Old Testament with its sense of cathartic relief of watching your enemies suffer terribly for their sins or misdeeds.
