I am getting excited with less than a week before I go to London. I am excited and hope that I run into a few of the die hard Saints Fan in London. Look for me in the Club Wembley Section by the Endzone!! Anyone else leaving this week?

I hear ya!

Just wish tickets would get here.

I second that thought. I've got one week + 18 hours until I fly to England. I won't feel 100% prepared until FedEx shows up with my tickets and, hopefully, tailgate tickets too.

Not to sound like a broken record but, if anyone still needs tickets to the game, I have two extra Club Wembley tickets. :1zhelp:

WHO DAT!

working until the Friday before game time -- get in early Saturday AM and leave early Monday AM -- going to be a long expensive trip for such a short period of time but I think it will be well worth it

leaving in a week - Club Wembley endzone as well

Leaving the Thursday before the game. Can't wait!

We, those from NOLA< need to get together for a photo op and have the travel Section of the Sunday Paper with us at Wembley and take a picture . Maybe they would put it in the Travel Section when we come back!:smilielol:

good idea. my crew is doing something similar with an automotive mechanic's magazine that has a travel section in it. we all work for the same company so its gonna be cool, especially with me being in the robot suit.

Will we keep a London thread as the means to communicate while we are all in London? Has anyone thought of how we are going to get meet-ups and other things coordinated?

I personally cannot believe that you guy are pumped about going to London for a football game. I personally cannot aford to go to London. However I would not go If I could. This is not the way to celebrate the fact that we are losing a home game. I don't know about you but I would rather have 75000 screaming Saints fans in the superdome than maybe 5000 Saints fans, 5000 Charger fans and 80000 fans who think a football is round watching my Saints during one of there home games. So If you want to try to make a good thing out off a bad situation fine, but there is no way I can be pumped about losing a home game.

I think you would find there will be more than 10,000 people there who know what the game is about. The NFL coverage is big over here and in the current financial climate I don't think many people who weren't passionate about the sport would cough up $120 or so for a ticket. It must be tough missing out on a true home game in the Dome though.

dang it, I'm in Europe and the game is on my birthday! On top of that, that is the weekend of my Fall break! However, I've already booked my flight to Berlin. I'm just entertaining a thought but perhaps I could fly to London for the game and leave that night. Anyone have a spare ticket? I'm just entertaining this idea is all but I would love to see the Saints.
