For a defense that prides itself in preventing big plays, the Saints yielded huge chunks of yardage Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Running back Willie Parker rushed for 213 yards, including back-breaking runs of 72 and 76 yards in the second half, and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger tossed scoring passes of 37 and 38 yards en route to a 38-31 victory at Heinz Field.
The Saints remain atop the NFC South by one game with a 6-3 record.
Coach Sean Payton's team stays inside the AFC North for the third time in four weeks, playing host to the high-octane Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at the Superdome.
