Jaylon Smith significantly underachieved compared to his pre-injury form. Willis McGahee had a decent career, but wasn’t close to the player he was pre-injury. So far, they are the best examples given to me of players that missed their rookie season and having good careers. Also notice that both were ELITE players preinjury

The guy's having vertebrae fused together. He very well may never play a down of football again.

I had spinal fusion done in sept. Been 7 months and I’m still only cleared to lift 50lbs. Definitely not a joke of a surgery. Be tough to come back from as a football player.

That’s a good example, but again he wasn’t close to the player he was in college. He had one season with double digit sacks…but it was opposite of Aaron Donald.
