N/S Dan Snyder HATES The Commanders Success (3 Viewers)

I wish more owners of his ilk had to confront their ineptitude running a sports franchise. He ruined a proud franchise with his unprofessionalism and mismanagement. I'm happy the Commanders have turned the page.
it's why I hope Jerry Jones has found some death defying serum or something
I want him to keep the cowboys inept for my lifetime

Better for everyone.
In theory, yes. However, Western civilization has been built on the exploitation of cheap labor, and the communism experiment has basically failed everywhere but China. That's really a modified form of communism where the party elite authorizes certain companies to be capitalist entities. The closest modern society will accept is social democracy in places like Sweden or Denmark.

well yes and no
first to address your question to me, the conceit of capitalism is that competition fosters smart growth and development of quality goods and services
when the government winners and losers before competition even begins it's not competition

secondly, communism has never been tried in any sort of environment the theory was based on
communism has only been tried in places where the oligarchy had already created a failed state - so if you want to argue that communism has never turned a failed state into a productive one (and exclude some of china and pre-stalin Russia) then sure, you are correct

now do socialism

I like Dan Snyder, but I’m rooting for the Commanders in the NFC. The negativity against Snyder is really because he’s a conservative who owned a team that the left wing press support and is in a left wing area. If he had different politics or demographic characteristics, you wouldn’t have heard a negative word about him.

Is this some kind of joke? I lived in the DMV almost the entire time he owned the team and had many friends who were WFT fans on both sides of the political spectrum, the one thing they all agreed on was that Snyder's ownership was a disaster....from the sexual harassment, toxic workplace, multiple lawsuits filed, worst game day experience in the NFL, etc....

How bad is it, when the other billionaires (again from all sides of the political spectrum) force one of their own out, it almost never happens
probably, at least in modern times, the worst owner of a professional sports team in history.....

Opining that politics had anything to do with Snyder's demise total dismisses that he brought it all on himself with his petulant and immature behavior, is just plain ignorant.....

Yes, all of this. Snyder is a horrific excuse of a human being and tried to cover up and ignore the sexual harassment accusations. And yeah, there have been more than a few who have spoken out about the front office and the mess it was. The stadium was and still is terrible, and fortunately the new ownership is looking to move out of that dump.

And don't forget, Snyder was in the middle of that email exchange that led to Gruden's ouster from the NFL.

And he treated fans like sheet. Charged to watch open practices when it had previously been free, and just a mountain of other questionable business practices.

Him selling the team was the best thing that's happened to that franchise in a long, long time.

Good riddance.
