At this time of the year I prefer to concentrate on the lists of top prospects over the mock drafts. With free agency things will change dramatically on needs.

Here Is Jeremiah's list of top prospects:

I think this list bring good news to the saints.

I think Ward, Sanders, Carter, Hunter, and Graham will be gone for sure.

At number 9, we may be able to pick:

# 3 RB Ashton Jeanty
# 5 TE Tyler Warren
# 6 TE Colston Loveland
# 7 DE Jaylon Walker
# 8 CB Jahdae Brown (nickel cb)
#9 OT Will Campbell

All of them to me are worthy the #9 pick. And certainly, we will be able to choose based on player and position.

The point is, we have options, good options. We will be able to take a player that will be a cornerstone for years to come.

I love AK but I do not trust he can go 17 games. RB is a must.
Not at #9 its not a must, we should be looking at edge rusher for the new scheme not a running back with Kamara, Miller and Clyde Edwards. We can find help at the position in the later rounds.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Saints dropping back a few pics and picking up another round 2 or 3 pick. One or two of these guys might still be on the board around the 12-15 selection.

I've seen other boards coming to the realization that Campbell is ranked too high. He's dropped him 1 spot but I think he will eventually drop him out of his top 10. Even his write-up points to Campbell's potential instead of dominant play in game. I'm sorry. In the top 10, I don't want to draft potential alone. I think Campbell continues to drop.

I'm a LSU fan... If we take Will Campbell at 9.... I may throw my TV in the Lake, and drown myself in some relatively expensive bourbon... He's a good player that I think will be a RT at best, and more than likely a Guard at the next level... He was either dominant or inconsistent or flagged to death at LSU - depending on the opponent... No offense... But he's not a top 10 guy for me at all... and I'm a LSU-Homer.

I have a high 2nd round grade on Campbell. His tape is rough for a top 10 pick and his arm length/ wingspan is really really bad.
