In a league where Jared Goff is getting an average of 31 million a year you can expect starting QB salaries to continue to be way up there going forward.

No yeah I get that. Contracts are going to go up and all that but it's funny when the next man up is just some JAG and he rakes in crazy money. It's different when a guy that actually deserves it gets paid like when we paid Drew. Give a mega deal to an actual elite QB and it looks like an absolute steal one year later.

The Chiefs locking up Mahomes for 25 years for 45 million per doesn't look so silly now.

Agree. Goff played really well the last season. One could argue that Goff is the 5th or 6th best NFC QB. Det finished 3rd in Points For last year.

That is an absolutely insane contract. Jones had a solid year but nothing more, there is no way he is worth that. Makes our Carr deal look even better.
