Get rid of the time change, God yes. But don't do it by making DST permanent. Make standard time permanent. I like the sun to rise before 7 am, thankyouverymuch.

Of course not. But my GK’s get on the bus at 7:35am. They get off the bus at around 4ish. Change clothes, snack etc and it’s getting dark. Below is a pic of the current sunrise and sunset.

Now back it up an hour. Sunrise at 6:26 and sunset at 4:42. I like them to have that extra hour of evening time to play and be kids.

Fwiw,I googled Fairbanks AK for sunset/sunrise times at the winter solstice.

Sunrise 10.59 AM. Sunset 2.39 PM.

I'd seriously hate that
