Hopkins and Means both play X whereas MVS is a Z the role we lost when Shaheed went down. That's probably why we went with MVS and no loss of draft capital vs Hopkins who would take away from the development of Means.

Means is no D Hop. He never will be unfortunately. Not a slight to Means, but D Hop had/has something that is clearly visible from the get go. Means doesn’t have that

This. All Mahomes needs is someone who can win those contested catches and Nuk has never had an issue with that.

He might not have much left but it's worth noting that he went for 1,057 yards and 7 TDs last year. Those aren't world beating numbers playing in a 17 game season but it's solid when you consider he was playing in Tennessee. Mahomes does so much with broken plays so I can see D Hop getting open when it becomes backyard football. Hell with Mahomes you could put a lawn chair out there in the slot and he'd get something out of it. The Chiefs just need bodies to run routes and draw flags.

He's the type of player you need for post season and can deliver, He just needs to have 3 really good games in the postseason

Kelce is the perfect example of this.
