In the last meeting the Falcons stayed on the field and controlled the game with Michael Turner running and Tony Gonzalez converting 3rd downs. Covering tight ends have been the Saints bugaboo all season long. Despite the fact that the Falcons played well in the last meeting and the Saints turned the ball over 3 times New Orleans still should have won the game. If the defense can get some turnovers of their own and get off the field on 3rd down I believe the Saints can send the Falcons fans home with some food for thought going into the playoffs.

No turnovers and the Saints get a W, no doubt about it.

How'd that work against the Ravens?

The defense has to show up or we will lose regardless.

(I do realize there was an INT at the very end of the game on a desperation pass on 4th down)

In order to win this we are going to have force atleast 2 turnovers from Atlanta, we failed to get one in the last meeting, plus we let them convert some back breaking 4th downs.

the key is how they arrange their coverage to take away Gonzo. they CAN NOT rely on Shanle to cover him in the flat!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats good but Brees has been a turnover Machine this year. we will definitely get a few turnover from him. I think your run defense is weak we can get some yard on them. Also the biggest miss match is Gonzo and whoever u guard him with . We should win by 13

Brees info
1.19 Ints in 14 games
2. 17 Ints in the last 10 games
3. 8 sacks in the last 4 games
4. Lack of a runnig game

The last time I checked Matt Ryan has 19 Ints just like Drew and less TD's than Drew.

Generally the way teams win is by ball-control, winning the TO battle, eliminating penalties, and running well. Those are the things our team does well across the board.

IDK who will win, because I'm not Nostradamus. Having said that, track records would suggest that we win all of those battles. Add to it the fact that your team has only beaten 2 teams with a winning record this year and it's at the Dome, and it looks to the eye like the Falcons should take care of business.

It won't be long until we know for sure..

The Saints D is quite capable shutting down the run....they did it against the Steelers, and they can do it against the clowns as well. I agree...to do that they have to play a mistake free game, but if this game won't make them to play to their capabilities....nothing will. And the Steelers have a RB in Mendenthal every bit as good as Turner. The Saints contained him quite successfully.

I'm not talking here giving up 20+ points.....no way!

We beat the Steelers by giving up 10 points....we can do it again against the clowns....

That gaudy home record should scare you. It's very unlikely you continue undefeated the entire rest of the season including playoffs in that tent.

Saying you are due for a loss there is fairly rational.
