No. The staff, including strength and conditioning, are inept. They all need to go. With our record, he shouldn't have been playing at that point.

So says the guy that has missed more games than he has played due to injury. He played one game in the playoffs at maximin effort and then we never saw him again due to injury.

A more accurate quote from him would've been "But I work for the Pels and they know how fragile I am".

Fans like to point the blame at Ochsner, but we had a football coach who made warmup exercises at practice optional. Who knows what is going on with the Pels at this point.

Nobody is to blame for this injury. DJ was averaging 33 minutes a game with the Pelicans. He averaged 36 minutes a game with Atlanta both seasons. Averaged 35 his all star year with San Antonio. Matter of fact i noticed how other teams played their star players far more than the Pels aver do. Tatum played almost 40 last game.

Achilles injuries have different grades so hopefully his is on the mild side.

I knew it as soon as he went down. That sucks obviously for him and the Pelicans. I hope they give Jose some run at point and grab Payton again, he played pretty well when Murray was out in the beginning of the season.
