Looked like a slip to me. That is an awfully awkward way to give yourself up.

He gave himself up. It was clear. He even got up and casually jogged. A guy that was trying to continue the play wouldve popped and and hauled. The officials got that right, I dont care if it didnt benefit us.

Its one of the things in sports that bothers me the most. You try to take advantage of something that is just totally bush league.

Best example in history is that run Kenny Pickett had at Pitt where he faked a slide and cause the defender to let up. That took advantage how absolutely scared a defender is of getting a 15 yard flag. I think they shouldve marked Pickett at that spot, and gave HIM a 15 yard penalty for that bs move to take advantage of rules designed to protect HIM.

He gave himself up. He even knew that he gave himself up. It's why he ran straight across to the sideline before he decided to take a shot in hope the refs didn't see it.

Exactly, if he didn't give himself up, why would he have been jogging to the sideline? If he slipped, he would've immediately got up and headed toward the endzone, not the sideline.
