Dennis Allen Landing Spot? (22 Viewers)

He is a paradox of sorts. He is a great defensive coordinator who has fielded some great defenses.

He is an abysmal head coach with THE highest losing record. He is not a leader of men, at all but one hell of an X's and O's guy.
Well... as long as you don't count the last 2 minutes of each half, that is.

It'll be interesting to see where Dennis Allen lands and how many of our players he tires to steal from us. My guess is he signs with the Bengals or the 49ers.
DA has tortured my saints Fandom the past few years. So I don't care if he go and win 10 Grey cups in Canada. Even if he gets on the Chiefs staff and win the next 3 Superbowls I don't care. Even if he came back as an opponent and intercept Carr 15 times next year I dont care. Even if he puts on Buzz Aldrin space suit and landed on the moon. I don't care. Even if Loomis hire him to stuff bubble gum in his mouth I don't care.

I wouldn't be mad at all of a good college gave him a ring for a DC position, as much as I'm sour on his head coaching for the saints and frustrated by it over the last few years, LSU could really, really use him at DC.

No. The only good coaches LSU has are the DC and the DB Coach.

Saw speculation today that DA could end up as the DC in Detroit to replace Aaron Glenn. It makes some sense because he would bring a similar scheme to what Glenn used and he has a prior relationship with Dan Campbell.

I would sprint to the Bengals if I were him. That offense with a DA defense would be pretty tough to beat.
This was my thoughts on it. If the Bengals can retain Higgins to keep defenses somewhat honest, The Bengals are a mediocre defense away from contention.
Dang the similarities between their current situation an ours from just a few short years ago.

What a difference it makes to have more than an above average QB with some young playmakers makes.

I'd be happy for DA if he was to land there. Don't see it, but I'd be happy for him. No ill will from me.

Another decent possibility.

Maybe the Lions after we hire Aaron Glenn. Campbell can secure a talented DC who won’t be a risk to leave for a HC job.
I was just about to post the same thing. Glenn is almost for sure going to be a HC this yr and the familiarity with Campbell would be the fit

I think it will be Glenn here too, Jets fans think he’s going to take that job. We shall see how it all shakes out.

As far as where DA lands, I wish him the best wherever that may be.
