First off i want to say this is just a SCENARIO im not proposing it will happen in real life

but what if we trade will smith for a second round pick. Harvey is the same kind of player as Justin Tuck. He was very productive at florida. We could trade down to get him. Maybe with Washington. This way we would acquire more draft picks. we could trade ou 1st 1300 points to Washington for their first 800 points their second 390 points and their 5 36 points

Then our draft could go
1) Derrik Harvey DE : Great pass rushing DE

2) Trevor Laws DT : More d line help

2) Antoine Cason: Cb could be a great player

2) Marcus Howard WLB : One of the best WLB ive seen

3) Tom Zbikowski: S could start at S for us

5) John Sullivan C Notre Dame hate the name but would be a back up

5) Frank Okam Killed his draft stock but i think coach o could light a fire under his belly

6) Adam Karkas G Would backup Evans

7) Jack Ikegwuonu CB: Wont be ready for this season. but could be a steal in the next

I am really on the fence on this. I have suggested the very same thing but there would be a lot to weigh in that decision. If its a high 2, I would probably lean on the side of being for the trade.

As for your draft, its just ok for me. Zbikowski is not that good though and I dont see him as an upgrade over Bullocks or Harper.

Also I truely doubt that Jack Ikegwuonu is on our board. He has major character flags.

That is a horrible mock.... 3 notre dame guys? Another defensive end, even though we have two guys, who in 2006 where some of the best, plus another end we just signed for big money... Also, a guy who would not contribute now........ The one guy I agree with is Okam...we need a top flight db above all else

if you are getting Marcus Howard the nthere is no need for Derrick Harvey. (unless we are switching to a 3-4)

I would say to get Shawn Crable with the Redskins 2nd round pick instead of Marcus Howard as well.

When did you see Howard play WLB???? He was a DE his whole career at UGA.

This won't happen, but it's not really so laughable.

I think that Will Smith probably gets a little more "love" here than he warrants. He's not a "bad" player or anything, but I think that he got a lot of hype early on from all those forced fumbles and sacks before other teams really profiled his play. Since then he's been a good player, but not somebody other teams "gameplan" for or even give the tackles help with. He's pretty much a one-trick pony with the bull-rush.

Concerning Harvey. I like him a lot. He pretty much never came off the field for a not-so-good Florida defense. He's a player. I wouldn't like him at 10 so much, but in the 15-20 range.

He worked out with DE's but he ran a 4.4 even i dont think he'll play end in the nfl hes only 6 ft and ways 237 i doubt he'll play end in the NFL

Ok then whats your opinion im curious to know how much do you know what we will do or where players will go. Smith is not our best defensive player. he's not a bad player but he's not great. He is never double teamed or anything so come on mr gm im waiting to here what you think will happen. there is no need to be so harsh.

Right now with the question mark on Vima and mckenzie. Smith is our best player. Now yes fujita is a good player but he fromm looking at fujita's play with his time in the N.O. He is the MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER, but he isn't our best.

Like the Marcus Howard pick, like getting Okam somewhere on the draft, like the jack ikefwuonu also

and Harvey would be nice even if we keep howard. I also like laws

I do hope we get Mike Jenkins, or DRC somewhere also, and man would I love to have Glen Dorsey.
