Seems like a great kid, plays with deep passion for the game and he is a money player. I hope he does real well since we don't have to play him.

This isn't doom and gloom. I'm just curious how he will perform coming off a serious injury.

Wentz IMO was slightly overrated last year. Take away his TD numbers and his efficiency and pass completion was a bit shaky at times. Luckily the Eagles were a stacked team with tons of talent on offense and the receivers caught pretty much anything. I would not be surprised if he struggles next year too and they are smart to keep Foles around. If worst comes to worst, they can lean back on their SB MVP.

Look at his efficiency numbers game to game. His completion percentages were lower than Brees and Brady. He struggled for this same reason in his rookie year. Luckily, the Eagles surrounded him with elite WRs to make up for his weaknesses. They had a stacked team last year and that was why they continued to roll after Wentz went down. It was only a matter time Foles caught fire with that team and they got back on track.

I havent seen a QB with more hype than Watson since Vince Young and Colin Kaepernick.

He could be really good. Or, he could have a hood season or two, get a big contract and quit working. Or he could get injured over and over again. Time will tell, will be fun to watch and see. Same with Wentz.

I'm getting used to seeing the running Qbs break out their first years and struggle once the teams have tape on them their second years. Seems one or two every year. So yea I expect him to just be a below average starter this year.

Calling Watson a “running QB” cheapens him significantly. This is not RGIII/Kaepernick. Watson has an elite arm and he knows how to make NFL reads.
