They both are the same, Ridder just does a lot do annoying scrambling. And we all know we can’t stop those QBs lol

I wish they would’ve waited after 3 more weeks for the QB switch. This will keep the Falcons competitive in the division. Heinicke can make the throws a lot better than Ridder and lead comeback drives.

While I agree that no player or team should be taken lightly, when it comes to QBs, you should also look at the entire picture. He is what everyone refers to as a “journeyman” QB. He’s been with the Vikings, Patriots, Texans, Panthers, an XFL team named the Battlehawks, the Commanders, and now the Falcons, all since 2015.
His career stats are:

Passing attempts: 542/851 for a 63.7% completion
TD/INT - 35/24
Passing yards: 5920
Passer rating: 86.1

I remember seeing him play a few games with the Commanders and I thought he was decent and played with heart, but I’m more concerned about the Falcons run game making things easy for him vs. him flat out beating anyone, including us, with his arm.

With the way the Saints have struggled with running QBs I really don't know how to feel about this. I think Heinicke gives them a better chance to win in general but specifically for the Saints, I just don't know.
