Well, if we would have won this game we would have literally been right there in the hunt with a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way.

Here’s my thoughts on the game:

Derek Carr is not clutch. He’s good at losing game and panicking in the pocket. put Rattler in the rest of the way and let him get some reps.

Cut Blake Grupe. He misses super easy kicks and always costs the team. He’s unreliable to me. Why did they choose Grupe over Lutz??? What were they thinking? Darren Rizzi made that choice?

I want us to hire Bill B.

Be honest with yourself.

This team was NOT running the table.

They match terribly with the Commanders and the Packers whom they play in Lambeau.

This loss, while a bummer, only accelerated the inevitable. Now we can focus on the offense and getting some younger guys more time.

Agree with all of your points. Add that it's now time to start the search for a young, aggressive coach.

To be honest, we need a lot of things. With two weeks of prep, the first half was good on defense and bad on red zone. Second half was bad on everything. Injuries were again, our downfall. The Grupe missed FG was unfortunate, but that's only his 2nd miss this season. It also didn't change the fact that the defense couldn't stop the run in the second half that started to set up the Rams for those big plays. Once again, defense PI gave the opposing team 1st and goal. There is a lot to blame all over.

Given the Falcons loss, there is still a chance at the division. I'd still like to see how Rizzi does after a loss and see how the team does. At QB, Carr is still our best option unfortunately. We are going to be in rebuild mode very soon so just got to hope for the best.

In the NFL there is no such thing as a rebuild mode. IMO

It's really not that devastating. Losing to the hapless Panthers was devastating. This game was inevitable. Some people thought that beating the Falcons and the Browns meant we were good again and it was never true. This team lacks starting talent and coaching when healthy and are so much worse with a ton of injuries. We are a bottom 5 NFC team until we can get younger talented players who fit a scheme that a good coach runs.

Who are our WRs? IDK! He is doing better than expected with the nobodies at that position.

Grupe missed 1 but hit 2 54yds, oh yeah let's cut him. Bro Calm down and sober up.

Bill B as we saw is nothing without Brady, hiring him would be like kicking the treads on Mike Ditka.

This roster is old especially on defense. We've got to move on. We are in deep crap because of the mismanagement of the salary cap. We will have to build through the draft and find the right coaches. It will be a difficult 2-3 years.

Devastating? You actually think this team is good enough? Devastating? 2019 was devastating. The no call was total devastation. This is nothing

Wow. Grupe has missed 2 all year. Some people expect kickers to be perfect. And we weren't running the table. Take our top 10 pick and go with it. We may win 2 more this year.
As far as HC goes, I'm sure they look outside. But a lot of teams will be hiring, so what do we offer an young coach?

Yeah the run defense isn’t getting fixed this year.

Probably will take a few years, but depends on draft. We also need offensive picks in draft so it's going to be a few years before it's somewhat decent.
