Would love to see whatever visuals you have first, but also interested in hearing an objective review on how it changed the "extracurricular" experience of attending a Saints game?

I have been following the renovations from a distance here in San Antonio. I know there are going to be more escalators, but that doesn't help someone in a wheelchair. I don't know if there are special evacuation elevators. Hospitals don't have "ramps." What do they do? Scoreboards I'm not sure about, but one thing is, a lot more is left to be done.Who’s idea was it to remove the ramps and put in stairs? What if there is an emergency. How do the disabled get out? Obviously you can’t use the elevator. This reeks of a ADA lawsuit. Where did the big giant scoreboards in the corners go? I thought that was kind of what made Dome iconic. Now all I see is some small thing you can barely see.

I believe the corner scoreboards as they currently sit are temporary and there will be bigger ones filling out the new notches in the corners when renovations are complete. At least that’s what was in the renderings along with what looks to be near wraparound video screen along the railings. Looking at the video posted above seems like those areas are covered with black fabric so I gotta believe that’s still in the works.Who’s idea was it to remove the ramps and put in stairs? I gotta say that in addition to the size of the corner scoreboard the graphics and type style isn't helping things any.I believe the corner scoreboards as they currently sit are temporary and there will be bigger ones filling out the new notches in the corners when renovations are complete. To answer your question about hospitals as someone who is currently in a wheelchair and will be until this Friday they use elevators.I have been following the renovations from a distance here in San Antonio. I also remember going to the first post-Katrina Sugar Bowl to be held in the Dome (LSU-Notre Dame). For some reason the ramps were a little wet (maybe condensation from A/C? The ensuing falls were too spread out to be from a single drink spill). Leaving the game, one guy slipped and tumbled down. I thought "oh he's drunk." Then another guy. And another. Then we all started walking REALLY slowly down the ramp. I laugh only b/c no one was seriously hurt.I'm curious about this also. I know times change and as someone who has been to several of the newer NFL stadiums, I know the Dome definitely needed some upgrades but some things are going to be missed. Count me in the group disappointed to see the ramps go. I have many memories growing up running up and down those ramps as a kid going to Saints games. And eventually, I got to watch my kids run up and down those same ramps when they were younger. I know I couldn't have been the only person with these memories.
