Pro-football-reference makes finding stats pretty easy, since I only had to roll the team-season page down to the top of the schedule & results. I’d have kept going to coaches prior to Bum Phillips but I think it would’ve been anti-climactic.

1997: Lost his debut @St. Louis 38-24 (Lawrence Phillips had the best pro game of his life)
1998: Won in St. Louis, 24-17 (I remember hilariously little about this game, but apparently Lamar Smith made like seven tacklers miss on a dumpoff)
1999: Won 19-10 at home vs Carolina (Saints recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff for a TD and never trailed)
