When I was younger it was always about the 'we' but I try not to impart my standard on others as I've grown older. By keeping my vernacular detailed as possible such as the organization or the coaches or DA, etc., it's my attempt to keep distance and not be so frustrated watching the product underperform.

If I did use 'we' there would be a sense of ownership where I'd be absolutely miserable watching this team (even more so than I am) because as a retired Marine Officer, I have a different level of expectations from leaders and the execution of the team than some.

Logged in just to vote on this. Given the results, I may get downvoted here, but my view is that it is unequivocally "they"

I don't mean anything to the Saints as a team or organization. If I don't buy tickets to a game or merch, someone else will

If they don't know I exist and don't care, there is no "we"

Mostly "we" because I feel like this team is in the life's blood of it's fandom; particularly the fans in New Orleans and well, Louisiana in general. But moreso in New Orleans. I feel like we, the Who Dat Nation, are integral to the Saints organization.

I never have been associated with the Saints other than fandom. I don't even live in the state nor have I ever.

Therefore it is they for me. I don't care though. I'm not a "what position do you play?" Smarty pants.

However I went to Purdue so it is "we." As in "God I can t believe how much we suck!l" or " We lost to directional Michigan school again!?!?" At least we have basketball

You know dang well that the answer is "it depends on the score." We did great against Dallas but they sucked against the Eagles. Like that.

Maybe Brees has a year of eligibility left and can suit up next year

Both. Before something happens I think I say we. “We need to draft such and such” After it happens I think I say they. “They drafted such and such.”
