Is this FO so in denial that they'll continue trading up, mortgaging future years? I'd hope at this point that crap is over. But I have zero confidence in this clownshow.

My biggest fear is we trade for some bum like Fields or Carr. No middling QB is taking this team anywhere with Allen's 2-minute choke D and Carmichael's Carl Smith playbook.

Let this staff completely flame out and then totally clean house. Everyone should be gone.

Considering we got two firsts last year . . . .

We also gave up a 2, 3, 3 and a 4 in all the draft 'maneuvering' Loomis did to move this years first to last year and to move around the first round.

Quit justifying it as equal. Its just not. Its not as simple as "we drafted our 2023 1st round pick in 2022". A franchise rebuilding relies on young talent on their rookie contract not eating up a chunk of the salary cap. Thats 4 potential heavy contributors we dont have in our back pocket. And our 2023 1 would be higher than both of the 1st we selected last year.

No, because this is Allen’s sink or swim year. The division is weak and this could be seen as a “retool” year.

Assess, tweak, change, subtract, add…make another run at it. Use this draft to build up the middle class of this roster.

Do not however sacrifice the clean slate 2024 presents. Full load of draft capital, cleaner salary cap, and if Allen doesn’t do well in 2023 the opportunity to reset w/ a new QB, HC, and staff

If Allen does do well, you can perhaps open a Window for future playoff runs.
