I personally love Lattimore but fans don't seem to realize that we are about to have to pay Adebo and it is not going to be cheap. Taylor will be resigned shortly thereafter. Can't have 200+ million tied up in 3 corners. Would hate to see him leave but understand the logic behind this if so

I'm excited about the new coaching staff on offense, but to call the Saints contenders is a bit of a reach.

Not a shock. He will be 31 this season, and he would have been the second highest paid CB in the league in 2024 at $18.5m (behind his teammate, Jalen Ramsey). He had $36.5m guaranteed in his contract, and he’s out the door after earning $37.5m. I can understand why these guys fight so hard for guaranteed dollars.

I'm kinda looking at how Shanahan did in Atlanta. If Kubiak has the same kind of impact, I think they could be next year. But a LOT has to happen between now and then for that to happen.

We are not as far away as people here like to pretend we are. It has suddenly become en vogue to act like we have some terrible team. I am not a fan of DA either, but these new offensive changes have my faith restored.

Do I think we are championship material? Probably not, but lesser teams have made surprise runs before.

We couldn’t win the worst division in the NFL, along with the easiest schedule, plus our schedule was even more easy with injuries to key players on our opposition. In a division where the QBs were Desmond Ridder, Bryce Young, and Baker Mayfield…….let that sink in for a minute

I'm curious to see what they do on the D-line and O-line, but if they make the right moves, yeah, I think they can be really good. And, part of me thinks that after all the doubt of the last couple of years, that they have to do more than change the coaching staff on offense - for the team culture to fully buy in.

I think they also make a splash move in FA or trade up in the draft. It wouldn't surprise me to see them trade up for Bowers. With the O-line coaches they've brought in and the scheme that KK wants to run, I'm actually not that worried about the O-line. But how close they are depends on the defense, I think. They need to be better on the D-line.

Don't act like we didn't have the same record as Tampa- with a QB injured for half the season and Kamara missing the first few games of the season. The only reason the Saints didn't win was because of how the schedule played out and how the tiebreaker rules played out, not because Tampa was better. They weren't.
