I believe he will rise up draft boards significantly following the Combine. He’s a special athlete, and he reminds me of Vic Beasley coming out of Clemson. They are very similar in size, and I think Armstrong will test just as well in Indy. The big difference is that Beasley played on a very talented Clemson defense and Armstrong is coming from a total dumpster fire of Kansas team where he was the only player opponents had to game-plan for.

He is an excellent pass rusher and his ability to play the run improved every year.

I think he’s a very good prospect, but I wonder how he will fit in the NFL. Like Beasley, he is an ideal fit for a 3-4 Rush LB, but the Turds have made it work with Beasley in a 4-3.

How would Armstrong fit in the Saints defense, and if/when he explodes in Indy, would you take him at #27?

If he can learn to cover he would make an ideal 4-3 SAM, and to be a DE would need to put on 20-25 pounds making him a project either way.

I don't think he's the same level athlete as Vic Beasley. Not worth a first round pick IMO.

Armstrong to me is an almost identical prospect to Josh Carraway from TCU last season. I liked Carraway a ton, but as a day 3 developmental pick. Definitely don't think Armstrong will enter the first round conversation. But who really knows?

He’s 6’4, 245lbs and I’m betting he runs a sub 4.6 40 and lights up the other drills. If he does that, and I fully expect that he will, there’s no chance he makes it to the 3rd round.

He's someone I'm super high on. Last year was a bit of a down year for him so he's not really being discussed much as a top 5 pass rusher. If you go based on 2016 he probably would have been a top 15 pick he was that good. He's a excellent at getting penetration on run plays and I think he had the all time record for tfl for Kansas. Most mocks I've seen have him going in the middle of the second. Although I've asked a few scouts and they've said they could see him going in the 3rd. It really depends on how he does in the combine. I think he has elite potential. And I'm really hoping he somehow lasts to the third.

You think he's as fast as Alvin Kamara, Marcus Williams, and Mike Thomas? I'm thinking more like a 4.75 or so.

I think he’s really close. Anything above a 4.60 and it’ll be a disappointing time for him. He’s a freak athlete and I expect him to run in the high 4.5’s
