I hope this very general statement doesn't cause this thread to be derailed and/or locked, but....

I feel like we're getting closer to a time when two individuals who none of us need to pretend are even halfway on the same side of the political spectrum can have this type of interaction, without all the concern over "you voted for WHO?????". Feels like forever ago, but it did used to be that way.

Both Drew and Colbert did great in this.

I do wonder why anyone would appear on his show. I love Drew and all, but I'm not even going to watch the clip. Colbert and Sean Hannity are the two most poisonous media personalities working. I wish people would stop watching them so they'd disappear.

Love Colbert ever since he was on the Colbert Report. My favorite moment was when he interviewed Katie Kouric. She was moving networks or something and he asked her how did she come to that difficult decision. She said she just trusted her gut. Stephen Replies "I just want to say I think it's extremely brave that you decided not to use your brain for that decision." She started giggling and had trouble recovering haha.

Thank you for sharing that. I could listen to that guy all day long. He was a true pro, an amazing teammate, a phenomenal leader, and the absolute perfect individual to always be the face of the New Orleans Saints.

It was a true honor to get to witness his greatness. He made a lot of guys a lot of money in this game because he made so many players at multiple positions look so much better than they were. A true blessing to the organization.
