I’ve been watching a lot of the highlights of Drew on YouTube. It just reinforces my view that Drew is the goat. The records he set in less games played is amazing. This guy threw wrs open better than any qb ever. With his limitations, to do what he did is amazing. As much as I loved Archie, Drew is still the greatest qb I have ever seen.

Kidding aside, going strictly on stats… Drew is a first ballot HOF’er. Don’t get me started on seasons where he should have been League MVP.

Had the Saints had an “average” defense during his time in NOLA, we’d have more Lombardi’s…

Be that as it may, it sure feels good to know that our franchise has been one of the best during Brees’ career with the Saints!

The 2012 season was the season his accuracy started to decline. He put up 5000 yards but if you look deeper, guys were dropping more balls and it's arguable that they were dropping them more because his placement was off just a bit.

There’s a legitimate case for Drew Brees to be THE BEST quarterback to start and end an NFL career. (I hedge that way because Patrick Mahomes makes me choose my words carefully.)

That guy, Drew Brees, was #1 for 15 years, and he was ours in that time. Even in the most pessimistic of times, you’d make the case that Brees was all we’d had. He was a joy to watch play the game and I’m glad he became his peak version while wearing black & gold.

The fact that Drew was never recognized as league MVP is a crying shame (JMO).

On another note: Chuck Noll (H/C for the Steelers dynasty in the 70’s) was never recognized as NFL Coach of the Year.

Maybe it’s the teams’ Black & Gold colors (J/K).
