N/S Eagles fanbase has got to be the worst in the NFL... (1 Viewer)

I learned from Dave Chappelle that you should turn your radio off when the cops pull you over because nobody wants to get their arse beat to a soundtrack. I imagine I also wouldn't want to get arrested while two guys narrate the whole experience out loud and on video.

That was just embarrassing for all parties involved.

I've seen plenty of Saints fans have to be hauled off.

I almost seen one in Week 1. The dude was absolutely plastered before the game even started, then he actively started heckling other Saints fans in the area about being “fake fans” for not cheering (we were on offense at the moment and about to punt).

He was in the 2nd row so he had to turn around to do the aforementioned heckling and honestly, I don’t think he saw one single play all night. So he spent an absurd amount of money just to sit that close behind the Saints bench to heckle fellow Saints fans at the game. Idiot.

I remember a particular incident between a Saints fan and a Falcons fan in the Superdome back in 89.

Saints fan had the Falcons fan against the railing of the terrace section...dude was bent backward over the railing.
Police and Dome security showed up and prevented the Falcons fan from flipping over the railing.

I went to the Saints/Eagles regular season game last year. There were plenty of Eagles fans in the Dome and in my section. I was expecting the absolute worst from their rep. The Eagles fans in my section were great - friendly, knowledgeable, and complimentary of the atmosphere in the Dome.

Now, a friend of mine went to the old Vet in 92 and said he legit feared for his life (and he's not prone to hyperbole). So, like lots of stereotypes, I'm sure there's some truth to the rep, but it's not the whole truth.

I'm 41 - the worst opposing fan behavior I've seen in the Dome has been from Jets fans (2001 - even before the Turley helmet throw late in the game) and Cowboys fans (2015). What did those 2 games have in common? Sunday night kickoff times. I think crowds are in general more obnoxious for night games (especially Sun. night ones) because a good chunk of the crowd has already been drinking all day long before the first kickoff even happens.

Can't speak for Philly but have any of you ever been to a Raiders game?

It can be scary at times. A very obnoxious group that is for sure.

Every team has there bad fans. Mostly it's due to the alcohol. It's is one of the reasons I no longer go to games. The last game I went to was the 09 Giants game in the Dome. There was a small group of Giants fans near me that never caused any problems. They took the good natured ribbing with class and even gave back some but it was all in good fun between fans. That lasted until the final few minutes of the game when some Saints fans got drunk and started making physical threats to the Giants fans. At that point Security was called in and those Giants fans were escorted out after the game not because of anything they did, but to protect them for Saints fans.

I’m glad the coo

I’m glad security stepped in. The falling Falcon may have caused a Saints fan to spill his beer.

I went to the Saints/Eagles 2013 Wild Card. I didn’t have any problems walking around the city. I got a few things said to me, but it was good natured. Even when I went to the Sunny In Philadelphia bar, I got nothing.
On gameday, walking to The Linc, that was the worst, but I never felt in danger. Just a few f bombs.
