He's my boy. I'd take him at 9 but I think the feeling is that he's going top 10. So I'd love him at 9 but I can't hold my breath.

One of my favorite players in this draft. He will not be on the board at 9. Yes, this is one of the reasons that one the team is eliminated from playoff contention, I am more interested in draft position than wins at the end of the season.

Someone I was talking to cringed when we were talking draft and he was brought up. He watched the Notre Dame game vs Penn State and said how Abdul was losing his edge, over rushing and not making any plays.

It wasn't a pretty performance, he's right. But he was playing with an injured shoulder also. So ya.

The guy is a bit of a monster. People like to compare him to Micah Parsons but to me he seems more agile similar to Jared Verse.

Knowing him, I'm going to say yes. He was using 1 specific play to say Abdul isn't good against the run, which is odd because I recall him collapsing his edge a few times to allow stops at the line of scrimmage

Abdul Carter won't be there at 9 unless he fails a drug test or get arrested. And I wouldn't trade up for anyone because we have too many holes to fill. I think we have a realistic shot at:

Will Campbell OT LSU
Luther Burton WR Mizzou
James Pearce Edge Tenn

We gotta take one of these players at 9. Only other option that I'd be cool with is to trade back a couple picks and get more ammo.

Campbell is a top 5 pick IMO he's the best lineman in the entire draft. I wouldn't mind having book-end tackles with him and Fuaga (Penning would need to kick inside). But I'd definitely trade down if I can't get Campbell at 9.
