Best part about it is we really wouldn't even need new jerseys, just have to use the current throwback jersey. Would just need new pants with the matching white/gold/white stripe and re-decal the black helmets to this.

And I'm someone that is strongly against leg stripes on the black pants UNLESS it's to match the striping for the throwback jerseys.

This just looks too clean to not be in favor. Only thing I probably wouldn't like (but can't see if that's the case with this photoshop or not) is if they would opt for the striped socks like they do with the throwback uniforms. Not really a fan of those.

I wouldn’t mind a striped sock or a solid one. Just… not one continuous color from pants leg to ankle. On the color rush/black helmet combo, an old gold top on the socks would make the look so crisp. All the white looks like mummy bandaging in my opinion.

The more I participate in this thread, the more I think I want the team to move away from the metallic gold in favor of the old gold from the original Saints days. I think it’s an easier color to match, the helmet would look amazing under night time stadium lights, and being able to co-associate elements from the past (Sir Saint, the Louisiana patch with the FDL on New Orleans) could all be signifiers of this era the team is entering. The metallic gold could “belong” to the Brees era and conjure up good memories while the team steps into the future by looking at the past.
