The second clip with the chick was really about what the Giants need to fix so that they can return to the SB. The national media is still having real difficulty wrapping its head around the idea that the Saints are the elite team in the NFC, not the Giants. And while I think the Giants will win their division and will be in the playoffs, I don't think they can "fix" enough of the things that went wrong for them if they end up playing the Saints again in the postseason. It's funny how the ESPN reporters were presuming the Giants would indeed improve down the stretch, but didn't consider the possibility that the Saints might get better as well, which I think we will. Remember, this is the D's first season under Williams' new system. Generally, a defense improves throughout the year as it becomes more and more comfortable with the system. Also, I think Meach will improve as he gets more experience. And I'm certainly hoping we will improve our ST coverage. It's even possible that Bushrod will become better as he gets more experience down the stretch.
