Exhaustive review sponsored by the Pentagon finds NO link between Saddam, al Qaida

No they do, and they don't try to parse words, sentences, and juggle semantics to obfuscate the painfully obvious, broader picture that is laid out clearly, in this report and virtually every other investigation of the administrations claims.

I am more willing to believe DadsDream who has military experience, then some snot-nosed AP writer.

You could understand someone with some level of exasperation with the semantics.

Why would be need to undertake an exhaustive review of 600,000 documents to determine that Al Queda, with help from Saddam, was not a threat to field whole divisions of fighters?

Threat assessment, as done by the Pentagon, is a highly structured process, Blackadder.

It must address each level in turn, whether it seemingly applies or not.

Dad's-
Above quote is your first post on this thread. It doesn't make mention of language in the article. It is a rationalization for the invasion of Iraq. "He sealed his fate ."
No mention of the wording of the article........until you needed something to help prop up an undefendable opinion. IMHO

I'm sure the Pentagon bases their use of the word operational on a Wikipedia entry

Maybe I should go in and change it to "whatever we want it to mean"

Blackadder posted a Wikipedia entry, so I responded with a Wikipedia entry.

We posted the DoD definition earlier in the thread.

But, if that's not enough, I'd recommend reading US Army Field Manual 101-5, Staff Organization and Operations along with its companion volume, US Army Field Manual FM 101-5-1 Operational Terms and Symbols.

Then I guess you also believed Donald Rumsfeld when he was denying the assertions made by the Dumb AP writers...!!!!!

I'd recommend you listen to some Bob Dylan

I responded to what Bulldawg said, Mr. Littlejeans. Then, I went back and read through the article. Then I posted about the wording.

It had nothing to do with propping up anything. It had to do with saying something to Bulldawg, then reading the article, then responding.

Again, you're drawing erroneous conclusions regarding my intentions.

There were no operational connections - so what? There were other connections, terrorist connections

AP writers are dumb, they do not know what the Pentagon means when it writes reports.

Thanks DadsDream. People on here should stick to talking about what they know. Or go to work for the AP LOL!

Our government has connections to groups engaged in terrorism.

Can we have regime change?

It's all about who's the target of terror...

SBTB has military experience. Furthermore, having military experience doesn't preclude I think having a rational, learned opinion on foreign policy issues. :9:

LOL!!!!!

Rumsfeld knows more about the military in one strand of his nose hair then the entire AP press corps mutilpied exponentially.

Rumsfled was so arrogant that it undercut his competence.

If any one idividual bungled Iraq it could arguably be him.
