This on the heels of a report that Tears for Fears is supposedly releasing a new album soon as well. So much awesome!

Weird is what you'll get. They are doing the album on Patton's own label, which is full of weird. So it should actually be fresh music and not rehashes.

Was only thinking of Faith no More on the way home from work yesterday! Saw them in Dublin in 2009 when they did those comeback gigs. Great night.

Um yeah. I like it. But I like Tomahawk, Album of the Year, and Mr Bungle. I do hope there's some throwback to some Midlife Crisis style too though.

It definitely seems to have picked up where AotY left off. I liked it enough to listen to it again, so I'll give the album a chance. I agree about wanting them to revisit the Angel Dust era. It feels like once Jim left they really abandoned a lot of the Bad Brains-ish influence that made Angel Dust and The Real Thing such unique albums.

I was never crazy about bungle, personally. Really, the same for AotY, but I'm admittedly a pain in the butt when it comes to these things. I appreciate y'all's perspective on it. The best part about music is its subjectivity, right?
