He could have done something really funny with that yardage number.

I for one don’t want to crown them, all I want to do is revile in their misery but you don’t make that kind of change right now unless:I am extremely not understanding the rush many fans on this board are taking to crown the Falcons.
Did it in May, did it in July, did it in September, doing it now. Some thoughts are better off as unsent drafts
... and we are talking about the NFC South, right? If he wins a division some kind of way a game down sure that builds his legend or at the very least it manufactures one for him. He came in and pushed them into a division title. That builds locker room support for him long term with 2 easy wins on the board for him and if he gets that win vs. the Redskins/Football Team/Commanders even more so.
Hopefully TB drops a game or 2 and Penix plays poorly and they can all blame the Rookie QB for missing the playoffs.
I’m sorry that happened or I’m glad for youI for one don’t want to crown them, all I want to do is revile in their misery but you don’t make that kind of change right now unless:
1.) Kirk is hurt, which considering it’s December, his age and the injury he had, is a real possibility
2.) They have seen enough in practice out of Penix to know he gives you more than Cousins and can take you where you want to go - which considering the weapons they have amassed at the skill positions (London, Mooney, Pitts, Robinson) should alarm any Saints fan. There is nothing worse than when the falcons are good. They are a good QB away from being good.
3.) They have made the same determination we have, the division is TB’s and they want to see what they have in Penix going into the draft.
