Probably going to get some backlash here, but, I happen to appreciate Nazi art, and that looks nothing like Nazi art, beyond using red and black.

Sometimes these kinds of articles get viral traction for no good reason. Then what seems like comedy to some becomes something very serious to others. I don’t see the reason for making an issue about an old logo that wasn’t meant to be anything but a throwback to their uniform history.Nobody is offended. It's just football fans looking for reasons to make fun of a team they don't like. It's only Nazi like because it's red and black which is associated with the flag of Nazi Germany and uses an art style very vaguely reminiscent of Nazi symbolism. But football fans are going to look for any excuse to make fun of teams they don't support.
Plus, the article makes it out like it's a bigger deal than it is. It's just a few joke mems posted in response to the Falcons social media posts. Nothing more.
Years ago there was a picture circulating the web of a truck with a Falcons logo, Atlanta Braves “A,” and a UGA “G” in the rear window. The first time I realized it was when they changed the logo I believe back in 2005. I remember seeing a coworker of mine’s computer on NFL.com and it had a page with all the logos on it, very small. I saw it from a distance and I was like “Who the hell is that F team?”
I looked closer, and sure enough, it was the Falcons. A couple of google searches later and I learned that indeed, the Falcons logo is intended to be the letter F.
Once you notice it, you can’t unsee it when watching their games.
I'd rather shoot the bird. No, not really, but really. So, the Falcons would be flipping the bird?
