I’d take him. I’m debating on keeping him in a league that will require me to give up a 1 2 or 3 rounder for him

He's washed up in the eyes of prognosticators. But McCaffrey keeps getting pushed towards the top of the RB pile despite only playing something like only 10 games in the last 33 attempts.

I don’t play season long fantasy anymore, but if you can get MT past the 3rd round in a 10 person league, then it’s a value.

Shoot I've been able to get him in rounds 3-5 in a 14 team league practice drafts

Hasn't played since 2020 season, Brees retired and the idiotic non Saints fans still consider him slant boy and think he was the product of Brees.

I have him in all my leagues. I picked him up in a money league this year that I joined/win last season. I got him for cheap, then turned around and shipped Deebo/Damien Harris out for Olave/Ayuik/2023 2nd and 2024 1st.

Now I have MT paired with Chase as my WRs.

He’s a lock for me in the 3rd. He was a top 3 pick last time he was healthy.

And we have a good amount of history with other QB’s to know it doesn’t matter, Thomas is too good not to get his.

In addition to the injury question as well as no Brees or Payton,, I think he is not as high due to the additional weapons he has out there now. He did not have a true #2 (or 3) after B. Cook was traded away before 2017 draft. He won't get the same kind of targets as years past. I would still jump on him in the third round.

MT at 80-110 rec/900-1,200 yds and 6-9TDs is still going to finish high in a PPR league.

The closer your draft is to the start of the regular season the higher he's going to be drafted. His ADP is climbing and the hype around him is starting to get real. If he plays next week and looks like his old self to the masses you're gonna see him in the 2nd/3rd round. I have him as my keeper from last year and I drafted him in the 9th round so its a steal for me this year.
