Yeah that Lombardi guy only knows Cam and Lattimore. He thinks our DL is garbage. He’s counting Lattimore and Tyran out already. He thinks Dallas is going to have their way with our D.

Which is crazy IMO because Dallas offense is one-dimensional (Cee Dee) with zero running game. The one aspect of our team that they can hang their hat on is the defense. I worry about our offense every week with the Oline issues and a sketchy Carr, but I think our defense will at least give them a chance to win.

You know, everyone keeps saying "well it was against the Panther". Other teams have played against the Panthers and didn't put up 47 points. In fact its been 75 straight games since the Panthers last gave up that many points.....And the last time was Oct 27 2019, the 49ers scored 51. Same for the 37 point margin of defeat. That same game was the last time they lost by 37+ points. 38 to be exact....51-13. So, if it was so easy to score 47 "against the Panthers", and win by 37 "against the Panthers" it would happen more than once every 5 years.

Today’s vid about the defense is up now too. Threw to much shade at Demario and our LBs, along with Alontae but it’s fresh to hear takeaways from non-Saints fans. Takeaway was our D isn’t the Browns, but they were the #1 overall D last year, no one is the Browns

Not for nothing, but the Browns were the 21st ranked scoring defense last year. They gave up a lot of points.

To be fair, I don't think anyone including most in our fanbase expected our offensive line to dominate their defensive line the way they did today. It was surprising to see.

That is the power of making a defense think and respond, rather than simply react. That one play that AK dropped the middle pass with Taysom in the left flat - a failed play - was fantastic. Dallas was all over the place with no idea where the ball was going to end up. And that was a play that didn't work!
