Love it 2-0 but that soft arse percent defense needs to go at the end of games. Just play normal defense and let the dline eat

Dang straight!Man I’ll take it! Our defense is elite, our O will gel over time….tough road win against a team who’s owned us last couple of seasons. So proud of this team, and on cloud nine! I’m as pessimistic as they come as a lifelong Saints fan..no pessimism for me tonight! Awesome awesome win!
We’re going to win this division. We got this. Have faith fellow Who Dats.
Every defense does. It's a calculated risk of allowing easy catches to run clock rather than a quick score.I think the offense started to Gel the second half. Taysom being featured did wonders.
I don't like how the defense played in the final few minutes. They can't do that.. it's something DAs defense has always had a bad habit of doing.
The first half was frustrating to watch. But overall a good win.
They have to figure out the offensive line if we are going to do anything. The good news is the defense as you said is elite and will give us some time to get the offense right.
Cheers
But it sure can cost games. We as fans have seen it too often.Every defense does. It's a calculated risk of allowing easy catches to run clock rather than a quick score.
Man he was animated after that too. He’s a baller. That Olave catch was really the game changer! Sad that they didn't even throw a flag on the PI, but Olave still hauled it in. He will get the game ball for sure!
I think they’re right there.Wouldn't call the D elite yet.
Totally agree. There will be a ton of post from couch coaches, complaining about coaching/play calling. The reality is, it’s hard to win in the NFL. Division games on the road are even harder.
Yeah the Oline needs to play better. Carr needs to stop forcing some bad passes. I feel like the offense is still learning how to gel and to me this was an improvement from last week.
I applaud PC for sticking with the run and not abandoning. I love how much we got Taysom involved in the offense.
I feel like once we add Kamara back into the mix, this team has a legitimate chance to be a really good football team.
Now can they beat Dallas, Philly or the 9'er in a playoff game. Not ready to go that far but if they keep improving and stay healthy, who knows what can happen.
Only TD allowed this season was in a moment we treated like garbage time (I don't agree with how we played that last drive, but facts are facts)Wouldn't call the D elite yet.
Also think Carr needs to work on his timing and ball placement. Brees made those screen passes look like angel feathers floating down from heavenWe ran a few today, but they just don’t work without Kamara.
Bryce Young is awful no emotionMan I’ll take it! Our defense is elite, our O will gel over time….tough road win against a team who’s owned us last couple of seasons. That's what my wife still says after 10 years of marriageWouldn't call the D elite yet.
Yeah, I just don't see the kid making it. He doesn't seem to have any fire and on top of that...he doesn't seem to have elite speed with his feet to make up for the fact that he doesn't have the size to be an elite pocket passer.Bryce Young is awful no emotion
Agree. But Kamara can’t fix the O line. I think Carr’s decision-making abilities even when he’s not under pressure are being affected by the fact that he’s being sacked and chased so often. Anyone would become paranoid. That last touchdown was huge. We had to get that win. Kamara is coming soon, which is an offense changer.
