Fletcher is the worst sports reporter in the local market. He was just on the on the 5'o'clock news lying. He said this means Carr will be the QB after 2025. No, it doesn't, the Saints did not give any new money to Carr. This is so obviously Russel Wilson in Denver 2.0. He is gonna be a post June 1st cut next year. Carr is getting paid what he is owed in '25 via restructured money. 69 mil hit in '26 is big but its very obvious that he's not in their long-term plans when he wanted to test the market and the Saints decided to just pay him the 40m Carr knew he wasn't gonna get anywhere else.

Personally, I think its a mistake chasing 7-10wins in a bad division. If Sanders does fall to 9, he's probably gonna be the pick if Moore likes him enough.

Tell me please how and where it is you think that we are chasing 7-10 wins this season??

Not a lost season to me at all, but from my perspective a 5 win or less season also won’t be a lost season. Especially if we address the cap, draft well with that high pick and allow Kellen to shape the team in the way he wants to.

I’ll be hoping for a 10 win playoff appearance season but won’t be upset at all if it’s a 3 win season.

I do hope that the can kicking comes to a conclusion after this season, as much as possible.

I'll wait till the draft but, yeah, 2025 seems lost already. The is no money to bring in a good player or two so the only real hope of not repeating 2024 is the draft.

I was willing to concede 25 and 26....27 is now in jeopardy

But this is right. With this deal, we assure that we will be "competitive" in 2025 (7-8 wins) but have disqualified ourselves from greatness for another two years. This will be perennial until we fix the cap.
