Yes, but they won't do it. Green Bay @ New England will have some play off implications... they'd only flex out that game if one of the teams was pretty much out of it.

As far as I know, there's no league mandated max. We should be happy to have as many as we do have... but if you ask the Cowboys they are upset because they don't have 16 prime time games.

Of course it does. How can it not be a prime time game if it is the ONLY game on at the time?

Bucs game could be flexed.

Well, every game in week 17 is a division game, but the weird thing is that many of the matchups are between the teams at the top of the divisions vs the 3rd or 4th team in the division:

MIA @ NE
BUF @ NYJ
CIN @ BAL
PIT @ CLE
JAC @ HOU
TEN @ IND
OAK @ KC
DAL @ PHI
NYG @ WAS
MIN @ DET
CHI @ GB
CAR @ ATL
TB @ NO
SD @ DEN
ARI @ SF
STL @ SEA

I've highlighted the ones that I think may possibly get flexed, depending on how things shake out. I would be fine if Thanksgiving was the last primetime game for us, but I know we have that big one in ATL, and I'll be sitting in their dome for that one.

Based on that i'd probably say Chi @ Gb would be the flex. it could be for the divison.

Yeah that looks like the best option there and I can really see that as a possible win or go home game if the Giants can beat Green Bay week 16 in New York.

it could wind up a do or die game. especially since the giants have an easy schedule ahead and already beat chi for the tie breaker

5 is the max, at least when the schedule is made in april. that's what they said on the nfl network during their schedule release show.
