It's very early to call it with Lagway but the Gators offense is like night and day when he's playing and when he isn't. Even when Mertz was healthy they didn't look like they do with DJ in the game. The whole team really just seems to play better with him taking the snaps. Billy Napier was too loyal to Mertz for his own good earlier in the year and it almost cost him his job. Obviously with the way the transfer portal and NIL work it's hard to say what this Florida team will be like next season but Lagway seems to love Napier so I believe he'll be sticking around and as a Gator fan that's very exciting.
