These rankings are an absolute joke. Evidence of that is #19 ranked Rich McKay....Mickey loomis is #59

Silly rankings.

McHale has done absolutely nothing in Minnesota except luck into Kevin Garnett. Pioli in New England should be top 5 (he's #20). R.C. Buford of the Spurs is top 5 (#32). You can't quantify a general manager. This is silly.

The fact that Isaiah Thomas is not dead last is enough to throw this list in the trash.

Actually, the list is not based on popularity at all. They used a mathematical formula to rank the GMs.

Yeah, I don't know how many of you are hockey-knowledgeable, but the fact that Feaster from Tampa is ahead of Lou Lamoriello from the Devils seems a little silly to me. And not just because I'm obviously biased. Can't argue with the success the Devils have had.
