FOS: A Breakdown of All the Services You Will Need to To Watch Football in 24 (2 Viewers)

I live in Fort Worth. I’m thinking that NFL Plus, with a VPN, will give me most of the Saints games, plus Redzone, all the prime time games live, plus every game on demand. That’s all I need.

Like most people these days, I already have Netflix, ESPN+, Peacock, and Prime, so those are no big deal.

How much were people paying for Sunday ticket prior to the move to YouTube?

I kind of feel like too much is being made of this. It’s 2024, my friends. 😂

You have always had to pay a lot to watch ALL games, that is, if you want to do it legally.

I feel like this is more a fear of having to have “apps” than a fear of pricing. Buy a Firestick; it’s not that hard.

This is a pessimistic narrative that is not going to reflect the reality of most fans ----

If you are watching a LOT of games -- suck it up, get NFL+ or whatever they are calling it and catch the compressed games after the fact. If you are a fantasy football fan and like to employ the "eye" test and see how folks look, there are channels on YouTube that summarize every target / opportunity by the vast majority of relevant players each week.

MOST Saints games will be OTA. The average American household has Netflix and Amazon already. Peacock --- maybe.
If it is on ESPN, I find it is cheaper to go to a sports bar or Walk On's and catch it that way ... trust me, they sell more beer if they have the game on.
If you are ok not watching games live, NFL+ is easily the best value. Access to 100% of the games for $10/month. Can start watching immediately after the game ends, or watch a condensed version if you wait 30 minutes or so.

Amen. And you don't even need a firestick. You just need WiFi. That's it. lol

Wife and I have every streaming service as we want to have em, even if I had none I'd watch every game if I chose to.

Luckily I get the radio broadcast and antenna

Have prime and YouTubetv though I prefer the radio broadcast over tv announcers and with stream the delay makes it so I’m really just listening to the game and watching highlights

A stream that’s synced to home team radio I’d pay for
