Frank Reich taking over play-calling duties in Carolina (4 Viewers)

Tepper seems to be just as slow as Gayle/Mickey because it's a bad sign when an offensive coach can't get his side of the ball right. He'll be gone in a year. Looks like another version of the Tua/Herbert debate is adding pressure.

I think that is also bad.
So what is one supposed to do, then?

If something is not working, not changing anything guarantees it'll never work.
And making changes when something isn't working, it is not "change for its own sake".

Changing just to change, with no real plan, is foolish. I'm fine with changes, but not without a solid plan in place.

And do you think Frank Reich is making changes just to make them?

Doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result, expecting something that doesn't work to work, isn't that the definition of insanity?

Yes, I do. It's the act of a head coach attempting to draw heat off of himself. I'm open to being wrong, but as it stands, bringing in Joe Brady is hardly a solid move.

well he started out calling plays, gave them up, and is now taking them back. If your argument is envy then it suggest making a brash decision might not be the best outcome.

Lol, yeah. He made a fan-like knee-jerk reaction to hand them over, now he has to take it back because the guy was worse.

Where are you seeing anything about Joe Brady here? I am completely confused as to what it is you’re talking about.

Here you are again creating a scenario to make a claim that is not defensible.

Who said anything about making a change with no real plan? Of course it’s foolish. Of course we’d want there to be a plan in place.

Or perhaps things were stagnant and he wanted to try something new to see if it could provide a spark. It did not and he can now conclude that it likely wasn’t the play calling that’s the problem.

At least he attempted something though rather than “keep doing what he’s doing,” continuously running into a brick wall expecting to magically become transparent and run through it eventually.

All I see is people clamoring for Pete to be fired. I don't see anyone calling for a particular hire in the middle of the season.

That’s fair but no one should be jealous of Carolina right now
I am! At least they picked their QB of the future and clearing the books. They will suck for a year or two. But long term they are in a better spot that us.
