Friday practice update (1 Viewer)

I find it hard to believe that a guy as prideful as Thomas would willingly give up a year and a half (and counting) of his playing career over petty BS. He just screwed up. Yeah he's jerk but he's always has been. But he's also one the most competitive players in the League.

Must mean that CJGJ was asking too much for #22?

…but 41 and 14 just goes to show how close AK and Ingram are.
I think both play inspired football going forward!

Sucks about Taysom and Michael Thomas.

At this point, I am starting to question if we ever see Michael Thomas suit up for the Saints again.
CJ can’t give ingram the number mid season. That’s why he chose 14.

well then his scans showed more than normal damage

still dont know how that was a legal hit.

EFF the league
It rarely has to do with scans. If there was something wrong on imaging he’d be gone for a very long time. If he’s not ready it’s because he’s not back to his baseline based on concussion scoring or he has symptoms.

I think that he felt he was wronged…and it likely contributed to his noncompliance

Seriously. I said I'm starting to not care, but I think this is probably more accurate that I'm just doubting so why SHOULD I care. I know a high ankle injury is a long term one, but this is beyond ridiculous that this dude hasn't been on the field for more than a year .. and shows no signs of being ready. Heck, Dak Prescott is back, Joe Burrow is back. Two dudes who were carted off the dang field because of their leg injuries! Is it because of legit setbacks? Is it because of bad medical advice? Is it because of refusing to follow medical advice? Is it refusing to follow staff advice? At this point, he's only a liability and no longer an asset.
No. Give it some time. Both MT and the team may want to make sure that there are no setbacks when he hits the field again.

So the latest I've read about MT is that he won't return until he feels no pain in his surgically repaired ankle. This is from Underhill on his neworleans.football site. Wonder how this is going over with his teammates?
Whatever the reason is the return on Thomas is looking worse and worse. Then on the other hand Kamara almost looks a bit underpaid. I know it's not a apples to apples but the bottom line is we are putting a ton of money out out for non availability. Thomas should have taken care of himself sooner he knew that he a pro athlete he should know his body well enough to know rehab isn't going to work.

Not really
We have the same amount of information we’ve always had
Any ‘drift’ (whether we feel the situation is worse or better) is really only about how we’re choosing to fill in the vacuum of information

This. If there's one thing about message boards it's that when there is no "official" information the board will collectively supply a sh*t-ton of speculative information in it's place. LOL

And will feed itself with more and more speculation information
And the fun begins when the speculation hardens and refuses to be replaced when actual facts are presented

I am looking at availability....on the field time and when it comes to that particular area I think the Saints are on the loosing end. When he does come it will take a few more weeks before he is in football shape. We could be looking at a year and a half or possibly 2 years until he is once again a factor. That's where I personally look at return on monetary investment...let's hope he gets back sooner than later.

I know that's what my head tells me. But the part of me that loves this team says absence is not making the heart grow fonder.
