At some point in my childhood my mother had shag stuff in one of our bathrooms and I think it was pink. She had the carpet and lid cover, but not the tank cover. Thankfully she got rid of it quickly and it never returned again.

Y'all are ignoring two of the practical advantages of shag carpeting in the bathroom.

1) You get out the shower/bath and you don't have a towel. Just roll around in the shag until dry
2) You use the bathroom and there is no toilet paper. Just dog scoot around on the shag.

Only girl, 6 brothers, one bathroom. On school mornings everything was going on at the same time. Fun times indeed.
